Letter case
Box letters are manufactured in-house at CEOS Groupe by qualified operators specialized in plastics processing or metalworking, depending on the material, whether aluminum or plexiglass.
Since 2018, CEOS Groupe has invested in a faster automatic machine for the production of LED-illuminated 'BOX' letters, which account for approximately 60% of our raised letter production.
Sign with individual letters reproduces your logo, names, and activities while respecting your visual identity and preserving the architecture of the building (constraints from French heritage buildings in protected areas, modern architecture, etc.). Several techniques are used to design and manufacture LED-illuminated letter case signs.
LEDs are an energy-efficient light source, operating at 12V or 24V, providing high-quality and aesthetic lighting while consuming little electricity.
Direct lighting letters
Box letters with direct lighting are the most requested design at CEOS, featuring lettering sides made of PMMA or aluminum, with a thickness ranging from 40 to 100 mm. Usually non-illuminated, the lighting is provided through the front face by LEDs placed at the back of the box.
LED-illuminated 'BOX' letter signs convey a high-quality image of your company. This technique allows for the creation of very large signs or rooftop signs, which are widely used in the retail sector. The production of LED-illuminated 'BOX' letter signs is carried out in our Boos workshop by plastic technicians for smaller sizes or by metalworkers for large letters, with aluminum sides.
INDIRECT LIGHTING LETTERS
LED-illuminated 'RELIEF' letters with indirect lighting or backlighting, with a thickness of 30 to 100 mm, are mounted using a spacer system in metal, stainless steel, brass, PVC, or Dibond, allowing a halo of light to pass onto your wall or onto a folded-edge aluminum sheet support.
The LEDs are attached to the back of the letter, projecting light onto the wall or support. All our LED components and modules, rated IP67 (waterproof and safe for outdoor use), are assembled and tested in our Boos workshop by our electrical technicians, ensuring their durability and reliability outdoors.
LED Unit
The BLOCLED type sign, with a thickness of 25 to 30 mm, is an illuminated sign made of solid PMMA with LEDs embedded or cast into the material. This technique allows for backlighting, side lighting, front lighting, or a combination of the three parts of the letter (front, sides, back) with perfect light distribution.
BLOCLED signs are widely used in shopping mall galleries, as they enable the production of very small and highly luminous individual 'RELIEF' letters. BLOCLED illuminated signs require design work from our engineering department. The PMMA blocks are machined in our workshop on a CNC milling table controlled by specific software. The LED modules are selected and integrated in our workshop.
Apparent LED Letters
RELIEF letters with embedded diodes, ranging in thickness from 3 mm to 100 mm, made of PMMA, aluminum, or Dibond, with visible 1-point or 3-point LEDs set into the front, provide visibility even in direct sunlight.
The LEDs are embedded directly into the 3 mm aluminum strip, with adhesive sub-letters displaying the name of your business. This type of illuminated signage has the advantage of providing strong visual impact both day and night, allowing you to stand out from the competition and be seen.
